We have a brand-new opportunity for a qualified Level 1 Technician to join our client s team onsite in Union City, CA. This opportunity is a contract position for 3 months with a possibility to convert to direct hire. The ideal candidate must be professional, well spoken, and have good verbal and written communications skills. Scope of Activity and Responsibilities:

  • Unboxing supplies
  • Shredding hard drives
  • Submitting tickets in the system (Remedy)
  • Support Lenovo laptops, and a mix of network printers
  • All our work comes from ServiceNow ticketing system
  • Break-fix support, changing system boards, hdds, laptop LCDs etc.
    • Good troubleshooting skills in both hardware and software
  • IMAC - receiving equipment, unboxing, and deploying (set up, breakdown)
    • Will be responsible for shipping and tracking equipment to remote users, tracking returns, and documenting everything in the ticket
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 to 2+ years of experience with knowledge of a ticketing system of some kind required
  • Comptia A+ certification required
  • MS Office 0365 experience
  • Remote access experience
  • SCCM Imaging experience
  • Asset management experience
  • Lenovo warranty certifications a plus
  • Supporting Windows 10
  • Must be detailed and process oriented
  • Must be able to work independently following detailed steps
  • Must be able to document troubleshooting steps taken and maintain daily ticket status
The resource will need to go through the background check process which requires fingerprinting. Full COVID-19 vaccination may be required.
