We have a brand-new opportunity for a qualified Level 1 Technician to join our client s team onsite in Union City, CA. This opportunity is a contract position for 3 months with a possibility to convert to direct hire. The ideal candidate must be professional, well spoken, and have good verbal and written communications skills. Scope of Activity and Responsibilities:
- Unboxing supplies
- Shredding hard drives
- Submitting tickets in the system (Remedy)
- Support Lenovo laptops, and a mix of network printers
- All our work comes from ServiceNow ticketing system
- Break-fix support, changing system boards, hdds, laptop LCDs etc.
- Good troubleshooting skills in both hardware and software
- IMAC - receiving equipment, unboxing, and deploying (set up, breakdown)
- Will be responsible for shipping and tracking equipment to remote users, tracking returns, and documenting everything in the ticket
- Minimum 1 to 2+ years of experience with knowledge of a ticketing system of some kind required
- Comptia A+ certification required
- MS Office 0365 experience
- Remote access experience
- SCCM Imaging experience
- Asset management experience
- Lenovo warranty certifications a plus
- Supporting Windows 10
- Must be detailed and process oriented
- Must be able to work independently following detailed steps
- Must be able to document troubleshooting steps taken and maintain daily ticket status
