Global Media & Entertainment company. The

Contract Lifecycle Business Analyst is responsible for the

system and template configuration of a new

3rd party CLM tool across our client's enterprise organization. This resource will be a key gatekeeper to legal data governance and workflow visioning across the multiple legal divisions and systems.

KEY POINTS (From Hiring Team) We are open to non-local candidates - position can be performed remote. The BA will be working on this 3rd party CLM tool. The focus would be on configuration. So, with CLM the product is not so much a support role with helpdesk calls, it's very fully functional (we have our previous support with vendor). This role would be taking in requirements from the Legal team to configure into the system. An example would be a Legal Agreement that would then be configured to this tool, then reviewed with the business, then create workflows. So,

someone that would be strong with technical configuration side looking at those requirements. An ideal profile would be someone who would be not heavy on the tech side but is able to work and gather requirements from Lawyers. All the requirements come from Lawyers. So, they should be able to have the skillset of recognizing that not everything being asked for goes. Be able to put their governance hat on. Some sort of ERP experience would be ideal. We will also have documents that need to be ported into the system with some sort of conversion. There will be 100's of agreements created and agreements that go into the system. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Engage with a broad range of Operations & Technology and Legal business users to interpret business requirements, analyze data and processes, and create work products that lead to the implementation of technical solutions and user adoption
  • Become the SME in CLM configuration, contract workflow and data governance
  • Deliver end-user training and support best practices through documentation and collaboration
  • Partner with project team members on migration, onboarding preparation and validation activities
  • Build and manage relationships with supporting IT teams within the matrixed organization
  • Partner and collaborative with the Enterprise Rights Team and broader Technology organizations to make improvements and resolve issues in support of the business
  • Understand IT industry and trends, emerging technologies and use them as needed to achieve project objectives
  • Provide technical ownership and representation for projects per the NBCU governance guidelines and methodologies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 3 years of configuration experience in Contract Lifecyle Management, Enterprise Resource Management or Document Management system(s)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT functional role delivering work products for medium to large scale projects and applications
  • Strong data analytical and problem solving skills with ability to utilize technology to create innovative solutions
  • Strong documentation acumen using business language
  • Experience in data science or data analysis disciplines
  • Demonstrated experience with implementing contract management system(s)
  • Extensive experience gathering and documenting functional user requirements with a strong knowledge of structured IT analysis methodologies, including process flow definition and data flow diagramming
  • Familiar with databases, relational and unstructured, SQL
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word
  • PMP Certification, preferred

  • Ability to work collaboratively with remote teams across varying time zones
