- Develop architectures in collaboration with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and technology vendors
- Collaborate with key architects on new technologies while maximizing existing investments and implementations
- Work with subject matter experts to define requirements and conduct detailed design reviews with project team
- Ensure business inputs/drivers are captured and reflected in technology strategies
- Develop business cases, design solution architecture, and manage multi-phased, complex migration programs that address technology, people/organization, and process change
- Become familiar with options, risks, costs vs. benefits, impact on business and system priorities
- Lead in strategic presentations and internal/external communications as needed
- Participate in contract negotiations with third-party service providers as needed
- Complete project business cases, cost-benefit analyses, resource plans, and project schedules
- Monitor budget and resources including labor, software, and hardware costs across all projects and activities
- Drive innovation through technology and new services evaluation and support of POCs/prototyping
- Promote best practices of automation, scalability, security and reliability
- Consistently work to meet and manage business needs in alignment with business standards and expectations
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 10+ years’ related experience with at least 3 years in a management role
- 5+ years’ proven experience leading, developing, and delivering complex, enterprise-level programs/projects to successful completion
- In-depth knowledge of application and infrastructure technologies (video workflow, compute, storage, network, database, web, integration, virtualization, firewalls, load balancers, cloud hosting, connectivity)
- Ability to develop strategies and roadmaps and establish standards, policies, and frameworks
- Experience with agile software development, automated testing, and DevOps
- Strong technical implementation, architecture, automation, and integration experience
- Familiar with documentation related to business analysis and requirements gathering
- Experience working with cross-functional teams/individuals within a matrix organization
- Proficient with PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Excel, Project or similar applications
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, documentation)
- Ability to present and communicate complex ideas with senior leadership
- Driven and results-oriented with a sense of urgency for deliverables
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills
- Adaptable with the ability to lead under pressure
