Robert Half Technology is seeking a Desktop Support Technician who is able to convey complicated technical information to non-technical users in a simple and concise format. If you are a problem solver who enjoys working in a challenging and positive environment, this may be the Desktop Support Technician position for you. This Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term temporary-to-full-time in nature and is located in the Alpharetta, Georgia, area.How you will make an impact- Offer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems- Resolve computer problems, and give guidance on appropriate action/solutions- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities- Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals- Arrange hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors- Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters- Offer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures Requirements - Foundational knowledge in Support Tickets- Proficiency in Service Desk Tickets- Problem Tickets experience preferred- Desktop Hardware experience desired- Desktop support or related experience- Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
