- Working within a team of Product Software Quality Assurance Test Engineers
- Actively contributing to all aspects of Software and Firmware Quality Assurance activities in an FDA-Regulated Class III Active Implantable Medical Device environment
- Overseeing the design, development, and test of software, firmware, and hardware used in all of the company's product lines during their entire Development Life Cycle, from the Requirements gathering phase to the Retirement phase
- Verification and Validation activities, which encompass reviews of Requirements from Design, Functional, Architectural, Module, and Marketing specifications. Code and Design reviews, Unit tests, Integration tests, black box, white box, test automation, exploratory test activities, and Risk Management and Use and Design FMEAs
- Creation and execution of Validation scripts to perform System level testing of our products and report any issues discovered
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Software/Computer Science, or Biomedical Engineering
- 5+ years of related work experience
- Knowledge of Software and Electrical systems
- Knowledge of Object Oriented programming, preferably C# .NET, PHP or Python
- Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational, clear verbal and written communication skills
- Must be team-oriented with people skills and positive can-do attitude in dealing with a large number of customers, and several competing tasks from various departments
