Key elements of the program scope include spacecraft launch preparations, spacecraft transportation operations, and processing facilities O&M.As a member of the PLSSS team in the Operations and Security Center (OSC), you will monitor electronic security, facility and other associated systems in support of satellite launch operations on the Payload Launch Site Support Services (PLSSS) contract.Summary of Key Duties for this position: You will perform physical security checks of variousfacilities and monitor security perimeters as required You will perform escort duties in/around numerousfacilities You will acknowledge, investigate, and report alarms You will compile data for reports You will provide system and facility status, and loginformation in proper formats You will assist others in collection of data, testing, andevaluation of the security system You will perform other OSC functions includingvisitor control, badging, etc. You may perform other related duties as assigned bysupervisionCandidates must be able to work in a launch site environment, including ability to climb stairs and wear breathing apparatus.
