COMPANY BACKGROUND:
Family owned and operated since 1970, we are a union, contract plumbing company. We bid work from Orange County to Santa Barbara for school districts, colleges, hospitals, commercial buildings, government buildings, etc.
POSITION:
We are seeking a full time Plumbing Estimator to work independently and as part of a team to provide skilled and confident work. This position will report directly to our Vice President.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES (but not limited to):
Conduct accurate take offs for various plumbing projects
Enter take off information into various estimating software systems
Create accurate equipment counts and assist with vendor quotes for new projects
Maintain productivity rates and material pricing
Assist the project management team with means and methods for each project.
Other duties or responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/project managers/senior managers and executives.
Phones, filing, supply ordering and other office admin duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Min. 5 Years' Experience in Estimating
Experience with the following software/applications is preferred: Quick Pen and Blue Beam
Proficiency in MS Windows, especially MS Word and excel, and in Google Email
I-9 Documents to Prove Authorization to Work in U.S.
Able to Pass Drug Screen
Good Command of English Language

Full Time
$50-80,000/year
