Camarillo Cupcake is hiring a part time baker/cake decorator!
Commercial bakery and cake decorating experience is required.
Duties:
- Prepare, bake and frost/decorate all baked goods from scratch recipes (cupcakes, cakes, cookies, bars, brownies, cheesecakes)
- Be able to use kitchen math (multiplication, fractions)
- Assist Head Baker in developing new items
- Assist in maintaining inventory and scheduling menu
- Assist in the overall cleanliness and safety of the kitchen
- Wash/sanitize dishes, empty trash
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements for position:
Be able to speak, read and write English fluently
Be at least 18 years of age
Be able to work early morning weekday and weekend shifts
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must have or obtain a California Food Handling Certificate (manager's certification a plus)
Have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule
Must be friendly to customers and have excellent customer service skills
