We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable person to fulfill a dental assistant role. This position mixes a combination of clinical expertise, organization, teamwork and a desire to care for patients. We are seeking an individual with a "can do" mentality that can bring a "How can I help you?" approach to our dental office.
An outgoing, positive, and friendly personality with exceptional customer service is A MUST!
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
-Clean and prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and tray setups for dental procedures
-Greet positively and prepare patients for treatment
-Capture digital dental x-rays
-Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures (4-handed dentistry)
-Record medical and dental histories
-Take impression and pour models
-Maintaining lab area as well as managing and ordering supplies
-Record treatment information in patient records
-Participate in the achievement of patient satisfaction and office production goals by working efficiently and providing a high level of patient service
Computer skills, scheduling, proficient and accurate keyboarding is a plus. Will Train the right candidate!
Bonus Qualities:
-Current California Dental Assistant certification
