We are seeking a compassionate and responsible female live-in care assistant for a licensed adult group home in Moorpark, housing three women aged 26–31. The residents are largely independent with self-care but benefit from guidance and reminders.
Position Details
Location: Moorpark, CA
Compensation: $16.50/hour for 45 awake hours/week, the Additional Benefits below are part of the compensation.
Additional Benefits: Furnished private bedroom (shared bathroom with one person), all meals, internet, utilities, Netflix, and access to a vehicle for transportation if needed for ladies.
Schedule:
TIME OFF: Monday–Friday 9am–2pm, Saturday 7:30am–6pm, Sunday 11am–6pm
Live-In Requirement: Must sleep in the home every night (licensing requirement)
Responsibilities
Meal preparation
Assist with shopping
Provide task reminders
Daily journaling
Medication assistance
Overnight presence in the home
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of direct care employment experience (non-negotiable)
Completion and passing of the 35-hour DSP training course
Fingerprint clearance
TB and health clearance
DMV driving record
