Medical Surgical Dental Assistant (Camarillo)

I am in search of a kind, engaging, genuine, and compassionate back office surgery assistant for my growing Oral Surgery practice. Providing excellent customer service, patient-centered care, and quality/comfortable surgery is the foundation of my practice. This is a part-time position working 1 day per week alternating Thursday’s and Fridays and an occasional Saturday with potential to add additional days in the future. Duties include recording consult notes and op notes into the EMR, assisting for local and general anesthesia cases, typing and printing letters/prescriptions, communicating with dental offices, following up on preoperative patient needs, instrument sterilization, breakdown/set up rooms, take xrays, practicing infection control and adhering to OSHA standards, performing inventory checks for supplies/implants/anesthesia cart and ordering new supplies as needed, reviewing preoperative/post operative instructions, working well with other team members in a fast paced environment. There will be significant on-the-job training. Medical/surgical assisting or dental assisting experience is mandatory
