Our dentistry is looking for an orthodontist to work every Thursday in our Santa Barbara Location.
Orthodontists practicing in our offices have the autonomy to focus on providing outstanding orthodontic care while letting the office staff manage all non- clinical aspects of running and growing a practice. Everything from staffing qualified and passionate assistants to support you, a full schedule built for success along with all the modern and high-end equipment and supplies you need. Must feel comfortable with Invisalign and MBT treatment principles using Straightwire technique.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat malocclusion and provide corrective orthodontic services.
Perform proper exam and explain treatment options to patients.
Manage patient concerns and complaints
Instruct dental assistants in orthodontic procedures and techniques
Manage patient medical conditions and communicate and consult with relevant medical and/or dental professionals to plan or provide treatment
In compliance with OSHA safety standards, follows universal precautions in order to protect themselves and their patients from unprotected exposure to infectious diseases.
Constant, appropriate and accurate communication and notations in Denticon to all departments involved in patient’s care, including clerical, DAs, Hygienist, and other Dentist or supervisors where appropriate.
Participate in any/all of the Care Dentistry Group meeting geared towards operational excellence.
Provide leadership to the Orthodontic team and work with Care Dentistry Group Management to make decisions related to office needs and goals.
