Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for coordinating the shipment of all orders. Assuring all outgoing orders have been verified and all documentation for each order is correct. The Warehouse Shipping Associate will be responsible primarily for the maintenance and good order of the shipping and receiving records and work area in which he/she is working. Responsible for the carrying out of those jobs and/or assignments set forth by the dispatcher.
Essential Job Functions:
Verification, labeling, and prep of all outbound office furniture
Loading of outbound product into trucks
Creating case labels, pallets tags, and confirming orders as needed
General Warehouse responsibility (preparing product for shipment by pulling product from racks)
Palletizing orders per Customer requests
Pick order as needed
Provide final count of orders to customer service staff to create BOLs
Verifying all information on BOL with internal production notes and customer purchase orders
Additional job duties and responsibilities can be added at any time
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Must be able to operate a stand-up forklift
Must be able to operate a standard forklift
The warehouse Shipping Clerks is required to be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Assures and confirms that orders are being shipped at 100% accuracy
Flexibility with schedule some overtime may be required from time to time
Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Experience required: 1 year warehouse experience.
Ability to read and write in English
Basic math skills is a MUST
Customer Service skills a plus
Outlook Express experience is preferred
Job Type: Full-time DAY shift (9am to 5pm)
