Hiring an Inventory Supervisor!
Responsibilities:
Maintains finished goods operations and personnel policies and procedures
Directs team in daily activities of receiving, put-away, inventory control and delivery of products
Works with staff to ensure that any inventory moves are being properly recorded and executed in order to maintain inventory accuracy
Investigates inventory discrepancies and puts processes in place to minimize occurrences
Maintains cycle count schedule assuring accurate and complete count of inventory during cycle counts and physical inventories
Ensure communication with all support groups to accomplish necessary priorities and operational objectives
Adjust priorities and manages time, people and resources as needed
Propose and/or update policies and procedures
Take part in the Implementation of WMS system in finished goods warehouse
Provide continuous performance management, coaching and recognition to team members
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, Preferably in inventory control, warehouse management, or similar field
A minimum of 2 years of inventory control experience
Thorough knowledge of operating policies, practices and procedures
Proven ability to implement process improvements
Excellent problem solving and decision-making ability
Computer Literate; including Word, Excel and Outlook Experience
WMS Inventory Systems experience
Ability to align, motivate and drive engagement / teamwork
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
