CLASSIFICATION: W2 HOURLY, PERMANENT POSITION, MONDAY TO FRIDAY
OVERTIME WITH NO NOTICE
LOCATION: OXNARD 93033
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Strong organizational skills
Proficient in English language
Accurate with income and outgoing shipments
Accurate with quantity of shipments
Punctuality and attendance, very important
SUMMARY:
The shipper/receiver will be responsible for following all procedures and work instructions to achieve optimal productivity, quality and safety, therefore assuring customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Perform all warehouse jobs including: receiving and unloading freight both manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
Checks for damaged goods
Verifies quantity and quality of order
Verifies items received with purchase order
Maintains safe operations by adhering to Cal OSHA required safety procedures and regulations
Wraps, packages and ships finished goods
Palletizes manufactured product and prepares for shipment
Tags and issues supplies
Stocks shelves and rotates inventory
Ensures work areas, machines and equipment are safe and clean
Adheres to all company policy and procedures
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Self-directed multi-tasker, able to work individually and with a team
High attention to detail
Able to perform repetitive tasks
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience background in operating blow molding or injections molding machines or warehousing of food or plastics stock in a clean environment a plus
Fork Lifts prior experience in stand up and sit down fork lifts/we will certify.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the candidate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Walking in a warehouse environment at times, standing, stooping, bending, climb a latter and stairs. Carrying up to 50 pounds. Wearing protective safety clothing/ear plugs/ head protection/hand protection in a clean environment. Noise factor is that of machine running warehouse environment. This role could require standing up to 12 hours a shift, lifting, turning, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, clutching, and placing.
