Weld Engineer - for Immediate Hire
Successful and growing company in Newbury Park that provides contract manufacturing support services, specializing in precision automated welding processes, is actively seeking an engineering support type specialist with welding experience and a strong manufacturing background.
In this position you will be providing sales support to new and existing customers, identifying and developing future sales opportunities, developing weld parameters and tooling as required for new jobs, working with production personnel to resolve welding/equipment issues, assisting with quality assurance issues, etc.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical/engineering background, welding experience and previous experience within a manufacturing or machine shop type environment.
Must be knowledgeable in various welding techniques (Tig, Mig, Laser, automated welding a plus), have general computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office and have experience with providing customer support. Sales experience is a huge plus.
