Established business since 1986 is looking for a repair technician with a focus on mechanical abilities. The position will provide diagnosis and repair computer related hardware, Printers, mobile computers and barcode solutions.

This position will be involved in all areas of the business and an active participant in day to day operations focused on support. We are looking for someone that can identify and resolve mechanical issues and enjoys a fast paced depot/warehouse environment. The applicant must demonstrate mechanical capabilities, attention to detail and excellent communication.

Job Description

Proficient with Hand Tools

Assemble/Disassemble/Install

Pick up and deliver

Knowledge of Mobile computers, printers, peripheral devices, and other related equipment operations, diagnostics and repairs.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software; Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Ability to work and make decisions with minimum supervision.

Skill in communicating with a variety of customers in a highly professional manner.

Skill in working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to details.

Ability to multi task while maintaining highest customer service levels.

Provide time sensitive technical support to client's equipment.

Accurately diagnose problems with specified equipment and correctly identify remediation solution necessary to bring equipment back to operational status.

Determine best cost approach to implement repairs to customer's equipment.

Set up routine equipment installations.

Perform unit diagnostics and replaceable unit swapping.

Perform preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment.

Maintain an accurate inventory of parts.

Report status of open job tickets to supervisor.

Provide support to senior team members when completing complex repairs or installations.

Maintain familiarity with customer's equipment and network to identify trends and patterns of problems and to assist customers in resolving underlying causes.

Maintain records and logs of all service performed and with details of customer's concerns and requests.

Ensure satisfaction throughout the delivery by interacting with the customer as a professional dedicated to their needs. This should be reflected through actions, demeanor, dress and attitude.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma, Technical School or College Preferred.

Experience with Printers a plus (Laser, Barcode, Dot Matrix)

Clear Driving Record

Must enjoy working with hand tools

Enjoy Disassemble/Assemble/Install

Excellent written and verbal skills

Must be a Self-Starter/Independent

Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds

Must be punctual with good attention to detail

Must be able to pass immediate drug test and criminal background check

Must have clean driving record
