Kariella is looking to hire an in house Website Content Manager with Shopify experience for 20+ hours a week to work at our Ojai location. Please note this is NOT a Website Design Position.
Duties of a Content Manager
-Overseeing all content creation activities for the website.
-Working closely with the owner to devise a web content strategy and branding that aligns with the company's wider goals.
-Creation of a content marketing calendar to ensure weekly content is going on the website.
-Writing entertaining and informative search engine optimised copy for every style to be added online.
-Researching targeting keywords based on google search.
-Keeping up to date with industry best practice and monitoring content activities of competitor websites.
-Repurposing content for different mediums including social media and video.
-Uploading of entertaining and informative video content for the website.
-Working alongside the owner to create content for the different social media channels.
-Updating all sections of the website including homepage and all other categories.
-Coordination of photoshoots to align with web content.
-Assisting the owner with content copy for advertising and email marketing.
-Drafting and scheduling Mailchimp emails to consumers weekly.
-Weekly relevant blog posts.
Background of the ideal Content Manager:
Preferably someone who is passionate about the Fashion Industry.
Education in marketing or Journalism proffered but not required.
Highly articulate with an excellent command of written English.
Creative minded with an ability to conceive interesting ideas for new content related to the fashion industry. We are looking for a writer who can be playful and intriguing.
Previous experience working as a content manager or copywriter would be an advantage.
