Director of Website and Ecommerce

Location: Vernon, CA

Full-Time

Position Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the ecommerce plan in line with the enterprise planning process and ensure that the online growth strategy aligns with the organization's overall business strategy.
  • Manage key drivers behind sales and gross profit margin, including traffic, average order value, and conversion, to ensure the team is on track to meet or exceed the plan.
  • Responsible for the site/app experience and revenue goals and leverage b2b consumer on-site behavior and analytics to achieve business targets.
  • Lead the site/app merchandising strategy to ensure on-site search and sorting strategies are optimized.
  • Work with IT, Product Management, and Creative to execute the digital strategy.
  • Develop site/app optimization strategy and calendar to drive short and long-term improvements.
  • Work with the marketing team to lead the product launch process and execution.
  • Execute and optimize the merchandising strategy for collection/landing pages, website navigation, and product placement
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify requirements and align on specific questions relating to the execution of ecommerce campaigns.
  • Identify partners and technologies that power our ecommerce/app sites and leverage them effectively to drive increased traffic and sales.
  • Work with web designer, merchandisers, and marketing to execute website/app updates including changes based on promotional activity, content refreshes, and new product set-up.
  • Work with Sales and Product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience between all our digital properties.
  • Manage the setup and maintenance of weekly/daily merchandise and creative strategies with great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Build sales forecast, align with a marketing budget, partner with the leadership team to manage forecast
  • Work closely with Merchandising / Planning to ensure assortment and inventory for channels
  • Monitor the site/app to ensure optimized performance around customer engagement and conversion across different customer types
  • Monitor the live site/app daily to check for category navigation issues and opportunities and product accuracy.
  • Provide regular competitive analysis, manage site/app data and analytics, and regularly present insights for scale
  • Deep understanding of UX/UI with customer experience at the forefront

Requirements
  • Previous global experience
  • Analytical and brand marketing mindset
  • 7+ years of demonstrated success in a hands-on ecommerce role in a retail environment.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing including program development and performance measurement.
  • Previous experience with site merchandising, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization tactics.
  • Experience with Analytics tools, Google Analytics
  • Understanding of Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of customer service, supply chain, fulfillment, and operations processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-team projects with several teams, stakeholders, and agencies.
  • Experience with both B2B and B2C ecommerce
