Job OverviewSenior Quality Manager - Victorville, CAThe Senior Quality Manager is accountable for providing leadership to the quality, sanitation and syrup blending functions at the Victorville site in order to assure product conformance to specification, food safety, GMP & Good Laboratory Practices. This position provides leadership in the development, auditing & expansion of Quality & Sanitation programs & practices. This position supports the Dr Pepper Snapple Group Manufacturing System agenda and QEHS Quality Management Standards. In this position the manager oversees the work of 50+ employees in a 35+ million case manufacturing facility which operates 6/7 days per week.Position Responsibilities

Improves Quality Assurance policies and procedures and ensure compliance to division, corporate and regulatory standards.

Assures compliance to Plant, Division, Corporate and regulatory quality assurance requirements in the areas of material inspection, in-process quality control, finished product evaluation, GMPs, housekeeping and other related food safety and quality matter.

Ensures compliance to local, state and federal environmental regulatory agencies.

Ability to establish and manage departments operating budget, including but not limited to Headcount, Compensation, Material & Supplies, Repair & Maintenance, and Professional Fees.

Develops supplier relations.

SQF Practitioner (Backup Practitioner: EHS Manager). Should be FSSC22000 Practitioner

Basic understanding of GMP, HACCP, Safe Quality Food Principles, Food Defense Principles, and Quality Management Systems.

Knowledge of reverse osmosis systems and bottled water production.

Must possess the ability to understand and apply moderately complex mathematical concepts, to include managing department financial data.

Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Must be able to interpret a variety of technical material.

Must possess a track record of successful continuous improvement initiatives and results.

RequirementsRequirements:

5+ years of previous supervision experience in QA or Production areas of the food and beverage industry. High School Diploma required; College degree preferred.

Must possess Advanced level computer skills (Windows environment), including proficiency in Word and Excel. Knowledge of SAP, or a fully integrated manufacturing system, is strongly preferred.
