Fortune Top 50 Company.Pharmacy Business Information Analyst II/Senior(hiring level based onexperience)The Business Information Analyst II/Senior position is responsible for defining and developing coding logic/rules that

identify clinical gaps in care and defining clinical health outcomes for such

gaps. Clinical rules will be established

in accordance to clinical guidelines/practice.Primary duties may include, but

are not limited to:

Translatebusiness requirements from clinical pharmacy department into technicalrequirements to support clinical application development.

Developacceptance criteria for reporting software requirements.

UsesSQL/SAS to create, maintain, and manipulate databases to support clinical reporting.

Analyzesdata and summarizes performance using summary statistical procedures.

Appliesbusiness knowledge and technical expertise to support clinical criteriadevelopment.

Createsand publishes periodic reports, as well as any necessary ad hoc reports.

Assurethe accuracy and validity of the source data and ensure compliance withHEDIS/PQA/URAC technical specification.

Developtest cases, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and participate in othersoftware development and operational tasks alongside IT partners to support thevalidation of IT developed clinical gaps in care rules are built in accordanceto specification.

Requiresa BS/BA degree in related field.

Experiencewith drafting clinical technical guidance.

Experiencewith pharmacy and medical claims data layout.

Workingknowledge with HEDIS and PQA measures.

Workingknowledge with drug classification systems (GPI, GSN).

2-4years data visualization and analysis or related experience.

Anycombination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalentbackground.

Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills required

Experiencewith relational databases and knowledge of query tools (SQL) is required,knowledge of statistical software (SAS, R) is a plus.

Healthcarebackground preferred.
