Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Onsite Technical Support Assistant for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Walnut Creek, CA. This position is for an entry-level support staff in Onsite Technical Support, who works on routine tasks or follows standard procedures under close supervision. This role provides support to end users across multiple operating companies by assisting with the installation and operation of their workstations, business applications, and related equipment. Contributes to support the Office Technology infrastructure across multiple operating companies. Responsibilities :
- Provides routine, basic support to assist with the installation, training, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair of all OpCo desktop hardware and software technology.
- May set up and attend meetings, prepare routine, basic documentation and/or distribute materials as required.
- Compiles information and may record and respond to basic, routine questions; follows SLA guidelines; follows-up as necessary.
- Escalates incidents and questions to appropriate supervisor/group.
- Follows instructions to assist with support of events such as infrastructure changes, software releases, BCP, administration and maintenance of non-desktop technology infrastructure components and/or office Telephony Systems installation/maintenance.
