Company.JOB DESCRIPTIONResponsible for defining and managing the scope of Business Systems projects. Primary duties may
include, but are not limited to:
Defines functional, usability, reliability, performanceand support requirements of a system.
Creates and performs feature testing and determinesenvironmental needs.
Provides the link between the technical and businessviews of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions beingdeveloped will satisfy the needs of the business.
Partners with business, architecture and infrastructureand oversees all service levels to ensure business area satisfaction.
In depth knowledge of tools utilized.
Works with the IT learning organization to mentor andassist in training initiatives and performs estimates for applicationfunctionality enhancements.
Proactively works with stakeholders to identify futuresystem opportunities and enhancements.
Develops use cases.
Must Have Skills:
Serve as WGS (WellPoint Group Systems) claims Subject Matter Expert as it relates to technical and functional understanding of the system.
Provide WGS system functional and technical guidance to development team and analysts.
Maintain active relationships with WGS business counterparts to ensure SSCR's are delivered in a timely manner.
Mentor both Anthem and vendor associates for small to medium sized projects.
Facilitate group sessions to elicit complex information from business on requirements clarification, design proposals, testing methodology and troubleshooting issues.
Plan with IT management to address any recurring systems issues as part of Application Process Improvement.
Lead functional requirements team and provide research guidance for end to end system impact and ROI impact.
Monitor system changes and identify Automation opportunities for both Business and Functional areas.
Requires BA/BS in information systems or related field; 6 or more years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
