your life's best work.(sm) Our team's function is to design websites being utilized by patients, providers, and staff for better access to online scheduling, telehealth, and improving operational efficiency. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Examples of e-business responsibilities include the John Muir Health website, telehealth, "Find-A-Doctor", online scheduling
  • Define actionable product directions. Become a passionate evangelizer with a full grasp of industry trends, organizational priorities, and operational workflows
  • Drive JMH's digital transformation, partnering with business stakeholders to capitalize on opportunities to increase usage of JMH's website as its main digital front door
  • Work with operations, physicians and various functions of John Muir Health to create alignment between patient needs and priorities within that organization to discover and provide the best possible outcomes
  • Conceptualize product solutions that include internal development, 3rd party applications, and integrations with existing enterprise systems Conduct due diligence on 3rd party products
  • Organize product discovery sessions with clients and customers
  • Define hypotheses, validate assumptions, test prototypes in small, rapid iterations
  • Work tightly with the development teams, building trust, and delivering product leadership
  • Create and maintain product backlogs
  • Define user stories and split them into smaller work units
  • Benchmark existing offerings and potential opportunities against direct and indirect competitors
  • In partnership with data analysts, define and monitor key product metrics
  • Present product results and plans at quarterly business meetings
  • Liaison to enterprise Project Management Office
  • Responsible for submitting product requests and progression through governance
  • Manage support escalations for assigned products
  • Work with Privacy and Compliance office on PHI-related investigations
  • Occasional travel may be necessary for critical client interaction, once safe to do so

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5+ years in a product management role, leading web products for a consumer software company across the entire product lifecycle
  • 3+ years of Agile experience as a product owner, breaking down requirements into atomic stories and working collaboratively with developers as part of a lean development team
  • 3+ years of experience crafting strategic directions that reflect market opportunities, competitive landscapes, and organizational needs
  • 3+ years of experience collaborating with UX designers and developers in Product Discovery creating user tests and prototypes for web applications
  • 3+ years of experience managing user groups, conducting feasibility tests in iterations, and distilling customer feedback into development stories
  • 3+ years of experience defining and tracking meaningful KPIs that monitor product performance and drive roadmap decisions
  • Ability to present to and manage communication with all levels of the organization and influence external/internal clients
  • Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts such as, APIs, DBMS, HTML and Web Components
  • Able to work Pacific Time Zone hours while you telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $87,900 to $156,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
