Join us and together we will drive the future of health care .This is an exceptional opportunity to do innovative work that means more to you and those we serve.The NGS Subject Matter Expert (SME) Lead will be responsible for providing guidance and consultation to Claims operations,as well as Subject Matter Expertise for a variety ofMedicare claims operational functions, business systems and innovation solutions. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Provides complex, in-depth knowledge and expertise and serves as coach and mentor to NGS Claims team leads.

Provides leadership in problem solving and decision making relative to complex issues and questions in the development of Robotic Processing Automation (RPA) as well as content products and solutions.

Researches, reviews, analyzes and interprets Medicare policy Claims Operations

Analyzes needs and gaps, identifies solutions and best practices and provides consultation on Claims operations.

Collaborates with other departments to identify efficiencies and best practices

Reviews and provides feedback on CMS change requests and technical direction to ensure accuracy in assessing financial impact and completeness in our responses

Reviews feedback and evaluates internal and external audits and implementation of improvements.

Assists leadership team with project planning and implementation.

Leads and provides oversight on projects and initiatives involving multiple associates.

Looks for viable opportunities for improvement to share with CMS via a white paper or concept of operations

Understands Medicare specific processes, technologies and key drivers of performance in order to integrate them into products and solutions.

Partners with Business Systems Operations to identify and implement automated system process solutions

It is preferred that this position work for the Indianapolis, IN or Harrisburg, PA offices. May work from any NGS Anthem office.

Prefer BA/BS degree in business, 5-7 years of Operations experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Experience in Medicare or Claims Operations.

Project management or process improvement or business analyst experience is a plus

Proficient in MS Excel.

Experience with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is desired.
