What Is This Role All About?

Production Network/Systems EngineerIn this role, you will serve as our MelroseTEC Team's primary Network Engineer in our integration and support division, focusing on infrastructure design, implementation and maintenance for our clients. The majority of our customers are in the media and entertainment space, including production and post production; but we also serve customers in a myriad of other industries. This position will be a mix of working onsite at our clients' facilities around the greater Los Angeles area (w/limited travel outside that area as needed), and working onsite in our MelroseTEC-Lab in Hollywood. There will be some remote work, but this is NOT a remote position.

Required experience includes:

Networking: Wireless, Switches, Routers, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, VoIP, QoS
Firewalls: Sonicwall, Fortinet
Switching: Dell, Arista, Mellanox, Cisco

Preferred experience includes:

Palo Alto, Juniper
Security and Endpoint solutions; SentinelOne, Crowdstrike, BitDefender, Windows Server, AD DS
Familiarity with industry standard security requirements (TPN/MPA)

Experience that would be a plus includes:

Trusted Partner Network approved assessor
