Perform analysis of various reports relating to the IT department for management, which may contain sensitive or confidential matters
Lead in the IT project management process and be a key liaison between IT and Corporate Accounting
Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting on project status, metrics, and KPI’s of the various IT project phases
Work closely with IT project leads to ensure financial activity is captured and reported accurately and timely
Complete assigned work and projects within the various IT departments
Interpret and comply with complex policies and guidelines and bring inconsistencies to Manager’s attention
Manage and prioritize job tasks in order to meet strict deadlines
Handle multiple assignments simultaneously, including the preparation of ad hoc reports
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong foundation in accrual accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting/forecasting
Experience with managing IT projects spanning multiple years
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, particularly with various IT departments
Ability to organize ideas and information from various business partners and drive conversations surrounding objectives, status, and strategies
Ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
Excellent attitude and high degree of professionalism
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel (Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills)
Ability to work independently and work as part of a team in a fast paced environment
Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines
Ability to work well in an environment with substantial confidential information
Detail-oriented and well-organized
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance or 7 years of equivalent work experience
Experience in Lawson a plus
