Financial Analyst

Please note that this is a 4 months contract position. Local candidates who can work at designated location highly preferred. (Currently, working remote is allowed due to office closures resulting from COVID-19.)JOB SUMMARY:Prepare financial reports and analysis for business unit management personnel at all levels. Assist in providingother finance support and special project analysis as required. Work closely under direct supervision of a seniorFinancial Analyst or a Finance Manager.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:• Prepare monthly budget variance analysis and forecasting reports for business review.• Assist in preparation of monthly key performance indicator metrics reports.• Monitor expenses for the function: identify material variations from plan and determine underlying business reasons driving these deviations.• Develop annual budget for assigned departments; conduct deviation analysis and work with departmental representatives to resolve any differences; make sure schedule is adhered to.• Assist in consolidation of annual budget and perform analysis as necessary.• Update financial and business models as necessary.• Assists in conducting financial reviews of vendors and capital appropriation projects.• Participates in process improvement projects.• Track special projects and initiatives.• Prepare ad-hoc reports, analysis and conduct special projects as necessary.• Promotes safety at all times and complies with safety/ergonomic standards as outlined in relevant company published manuals.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:• High school diploma or equivalent required.• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or related field.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:• Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of prior Accounting or Finance experience.SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:• Proficiency in Excel• Applied working knowledge of SAP preferredApplicants must provide their phone number.
