Essential Job FunctionsPurchasing and Relationship Management
Collaborate on sourcing options in upstream Design or projects
Negotiate optimal pricing and terms for New Products
Team member in Design phase to drive projects to readiness
Create and monitor PO?s for components, products and required CAPEX/expense items
Own ongoing relationships with strategic vendors in categories of expertise
Project Leadership
Lead multifunctional team to deliver new products on time, at quality and cost to the market post Design completion
Execute the Innovation systems with excellence and accountability to ensure completion of activities by self and multifunctional team
Maintain real time purchasing updates in NetSuite, Wrike, and google Drive.
Communicate effectively to Executive Team on project status
Cost Savings
Initiate cost controlling/cost avoidance/cost savings projects.
Negotiate current pricing to ensure highest quality and lowest cost.
Ideate ways to drive cost savings using industry and vendor knowledge
Update and improve vendor payment terms.
Requirements
10+ years of experience
Bachelor?s Degree required
Strong analytical skills required.
Cosmetic or Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience- a plus
Standard MS Office applications required, advanced Excel strongly recommended.
Ability to work as a team member
Must be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Excellent project and time management skills.
Physical demandsSitting, Typing, Frequent Standing and Walking, Occasional lifting (less than 25 lbs)
