Software Test Engineer

Our client, a leading Medical Device company is looking for a

• The Software Test Engineer will perform software testing of software connected to microbiology medical devices.
• The Test Engineer will be part of the Software Test team and execute Verification and Validation tests.
• The candidate should have good experience and knowledge with software testing.

• Setup test environment.
• Execute software test cases.
• Document software defects.
• Perform test case and test result reviews.
• Investigate software and system problems.
• Create test cases.
• Support of other project activities.

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 2+ years of software testing.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience testing software with a database and familiarity with SQL queries.
• Test environment setup experience such as installing an OS, networking the PC, and connecting to instrumentation.
• Experience with Client Application Life Cycle Management (Client ALM) tools for test planning, test execution, defect management, and requirements management.
• Familiarity with one object-oriented programming language.
• Experience with software development in a regulated environment (FDA, ISO 9000/9001).
