Location: West Sacramento, CA Description: Our client is currently seeking a Software Developer / Data Pipeline DeveloperDescription:The primary responsibilities of this role, Data pipeline developer, are: Improve a pre-production research pipeline and implement continuous development best practices. Work with scientists, engineers, and IT teams to understand requirements and prioritize pipeline features. Be open to collaborating with colleagues of different perspectives and expertise. Develop well structured, and easy to use code. Work with docker containers and AWS infrastructure. Document work in order to share knowledge and tools. Think critically, prioritize, and solve technical challenges.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, genomics, bioinformatics or related discipline with relevant experience OR certificate/no degree with at least 3 years relevant experience. Proficiency programming with python. 2+ years working in Linux environments. 2+ years using git version control. 1+ year cloud computing (AWS preferred).
