A well-known marketing analytics SaaS company that works directly with Fortune 500 clients is hiring a Lead Software Engineer to join their team of eight. You will act as a mentor, conducting code reviews and doing 50% hands on development and 50% architecture and design. This role provides the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the teams and grow this company to the next level. They use the latest Java technology with Java 13, Spring Boot, Rest API, Microservices, AWS, and Oracle/NoSQL. This role will be 70% new development as they recently released a new customer-facing application that upon release received 15k responses per day and growing. This role is currently all remote, but will return to Santa Monica with lots of remote flexibility. Their office has views of Los Angeles, fully stocked kitchen, a game room, and they offer great benefits as well. Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional Java experience
- Prior Principal or Lead level experience
- Experience with Spring Boot
- Rest API with Microservices
- Database experience (Oracle or NoSQL)
- Experience with AWS
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related degree
- Experience working on a high availability/scalable application
- 50% Hands-On Development
- 20% Architecture/Design
- Competitive Pay: Up to $150K/year, DOE
