Our Nugget Markets Kitchen chefs prepare consistent, high-quality, ready-to-eat foods in high volume that will be packaged and delivered to our stores. Our foods are made fresh with quality ingredients daily - and 85% are made from scratch! Other duties include placing orders for product; packaging and labeling items; loading carts and racks with products; and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.Must be at least 18 years of age
Required to have industry experience with food preparation
Must have intermediate to excellent knife skills
Must be outgoing, approachable, and enthusiastic
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Must have proficient knowledge and use of commercial kitchen equipment
Basic computer skills
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required
