JO#28032 Procurement Manager - IT Maxonic is seeking an IT Procurement Manager to join the Cruise line team, this role will support the IT Department on their purchasing requirements/budgets, technologies, vendors, suppliers, etc. This position reports to the IT Architect with a hybrid schedule. The Procurement Manager will be the expert responsible for managing supply contracts and control the logistics and lifecycle of IT equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES Controls the IT Budget and developing cost-effective procurement strategies. Negotiating, sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms. Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility. Managing and approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services. Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods. Preparing procurement reports. QUALIFICATION PROFILE Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration. 5 years of experience in Procurement and Logistics. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent budgeting and auditing skills. Critical thinker with innovative problem solving skills. Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools. Organizational and time management skills. Strategic, creative mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
