Full Time Position Available for Experienced Farm Equipment Operator on a Progressive Family Farm

In this position, the employee's role will include manual and skilled work in rice & orchard crop production including equipment operation, setup, and maintenance.
This employee will operate farm machinery and equipment during the growing season, and assists with the maintenance of farm equipment. The Equipment Operator may perform farm labor as necessary and as dependent on the season & weather.
Responsibilities:
Equipment Operations
Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all processes and equipment related to farm & field operations.
Operate tractors & other farm equipment including those equipped with GPS guidance systems.
Assist other with planting, irrigation, and other harvest activities as the need arises.
Equipment Maintenance
Ensure the proper care and maintenance of all equipment and vehicles.
Perform daily equipment service checks a necessary or required.
Assists with routine equipment setup and repairs.
Safety
Follow safety programs that provide a safe and clean workplace for employees within regulations of all OSHA local, state, and federal regulations and agencies.
Other
Perform manual labor tasks as needed, including ability to lift 50lbs, standing, and climbing steps
Perform other assignments from time to time as requested by supervisor
Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Knowledge of equipment maintenance.
Proficient knowledge of hand tools, power tools, atv's, and other farm vehicles.
Ability to identify equipment services needs or issues.
Ability to work in an outdoor environment where it is required to perform different job duties.
Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and work will with limited supervision
Class A Driver's a licenses a plus.
Pay Depending on experience. Bonus Program and Overtime Possibilities. Position is full time, but can be flexible. Ability to work evenings and weekends seasonally.
