Our Yuba City Executive Suites and co-working space consisting of 22 small offices with various local professionals such as Mortgage brokers, Real Estate agents, Lawyers, Financial consultants, Graphic Designers, Photographers, Security, Bookkeeping, etc. We are seeking a candidate that is detailed orientated, has strong customer service skills, excellent english verbal and written skills, and has experience answering a multi-phone line system. We are also looking for someone that is a self starter, has property management experience or aptitude, and has a natural instinct to pay attention to details and keep things tidy.

POSITION: Receptionist / Assistant Property Manager

PAY: $12-15 per hr DOE and skills

HOURS: Monday thru Friday 8AM to 5PM

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to complete all areas outlined below. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities necessary to meet the minimum job requirements of this position. Qualified candidates must pass all appropriate pre-employment tests, written/spelling test, drug screen and a possible background check as well as possess the ability to perform the functions of the position. You must dress and look professional at all times appropriate for an upscale business office. You must be able to maintain a positive attitude towards tenants and customers at all times. We expect you to enjoy being part of a team.

DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receptionist functions are to provide superior customer service to all tenants and their clients.

- Answer telephone, take messages, and route calls to appropriate tenant or tenant voicemail.

- Handle low to medium call volumes for various tenants while multitasking (around half of tenants use phone service).

- Perform other various duties such as document management, scheduling, email and keeping the lobby area clean.

- Perform some spot cleaning in building, as needed, in between janitorial schedules (spills and accidents).

- Receive and record payments for tenants and Succeed.net customers which includes managing a cash balance that must be balanced daily.

Assistant Property Manager functions are:

- Show available Suites to prospective tenants, get contracts explained and signed, record keeping in Quickbooks Online.

- Perform basic marketing and sales activities of suites (maintain internet ads, network with local real estate agents, etc).

- Coordinate and monitor for quality service contractors (yard maintenance, pest control, janitorial, HVAC, etc).

- Ensure building is clean and everything is functional at all times perform easy work yourself (changing air filters, bulbs) and coordinating harder jobs with vendors and contractors.

- Bill tenants for shared copier usage or other usage based services.

- Keep up communication with HQ property managers about status of property, sales, leads, issues, and projects.

And anything else you may be asked to do that is needed by your position too keep building running smooth and be a nice environment for tenants.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

This position requires a good knowledge of computer applications, excellent keyboarding skills, knowledge of basic accounting principles and strong attention to detail.

EDUCATION:

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year experience in a customer service work environment.
