Space Mission Aerospace EngineerKey Role:Execute work on the client site using government systems and processes. Integrate and improve upon standing space flight safety processes and coordinate with various stakeholders. Conduct research and perform analysis of new concepts and develop concepts and proposals. Provide recommendations for use in supporting future acquisition and operations against existing and emerging threats.Basic Qualifications:-Experience with DoD Joint wargaming and experiment planning for space systems-Experience with space and counterspace operations, including space defense and space threat analysis and support to mitigating response options-Experience with space concepts at tactical, operational, or strategic level-Experience with Joint space operations planning-Knowledge of space and counterspace mission areas-Ability to use Mod-Sim tools for orbital analysis and threat engagement scenarios-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph-BA or BS degreeClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.Compensation:The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 101,000 to 185,000.
