DescriptionAre you an Accounts Payable (A/P) Associate that is looking for a long-term temporary position? Accountemps is currently trying to fill this position with a candidate that wants to become a crucial part in a team environment located in Aurora, CO. This position requires people who have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of accounting and its principles, hands on, and the ability to think on your feet.Your responsibilities as the Accounts Payable Associate:
Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
Complete special projects on an as-needed basis
Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it
Execute full-cycle A/P
Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling

Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
