The Applications Systems Architect (Remote) is responsible for system development of the clients simulations and systems. This role enables their software products to be commercially available through an internal portal and external connections. A key element of this position is pushing forward the innovation goals for the institution for next-generation online delivery of education. DUTIES:Document development requirements for database, applications, and operation system environmentConsult with end users to test and debug applications to meet needsDesign and Develop the backend that provides hosting, integration and reporting services for their simulation productsCreate technology strategies to support their business growth needsDevelop and maintain both back office and student facing applications and systemsResearch and test features for upgrades and new builds
COMPETENCIES INCLUDE:AnalyticalApplication Development - experience with a variety of development technologies including C#, SQL, and Javascript. Experience with Dynamics 365 and Azure a plusBA degree or equivalent; or eight to ten years related experienceMicrosoft technology stack experience, including Microsoft Azure systems such as Azure App Service, SQL, Azure, Application Insights, and Azure DevOps.Experience managing an agile development methodology within Azure DevOps preferredAt least three years of demonstrated experience and leadership in the field of Information Technology or related fieldWe are an equal opportunity employer and make hiring decisions based on merit.
