Conduct inspections of units upon lease execution; annual/biennial and special inspections thereafter in order to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.Complete required documentation of inspections in accordance with established guidelines.Communicate failed items to landlords and advise on guidelines for correction.Contact clients and landlords regarding inspection issues.Responsible for the timely completion of assigned inspections.Prepare reports as requested by the Director of Assisted Housing and Compliance Managers.Maintain up-to-date knowledge on Section 8 program regulations. 8. Investigate and take appropriate action for program fraud.Other duties as assigned.Provides coverage for Housing Specialists as needed.
