The Payload and Ground Systems (PGS) division of Northrop Grumman's Space Systems sector seeks team members who want to solve interesting, complex problems which protect our nation. We are a trusted mission payload and ground system provider with extensive experience providing end-to-end mission solutions from concept through operations and support. The team you will support is located at our Aurora, CO campus.

We are looking for experienced candidates in the realm of Network Engineering to provide technical support for WAN/LAN development and maintenance.

You will get to work on installs, design, configurations, monitoring, and maintenance of network hardware and software to ensure network availability to system users. You may work alongside other network support and client server specialists to plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures. You'll provide support to projects involving networks, by helping them connect to the network and troubleshooting issues they may have. You will develop and implement methodologies for analysis, installation and support of the network.

You will work with activities and software such as:
  • ServiceNow
  • FCRs
  • Routing
  • CISCO/Juniper Hardware and Configuration
  • Cabling
This requisition may be filled at either the Principal Network Engineer or Senior Principal Network Engineer grade based on the qualifications listed below.

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Network Engineer:
  • 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3 years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree; 0 years of relevant experience with a PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Ability to meet IAT Level II certification requirements (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP or greater)
  • Active TS/SCI
Basic Qualifications for a Senior Principal Network Engineer:
  • 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 7 years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree; 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Ability to meet IAT Level II certification requirements (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP or greater)
  • Active TS/SCI
Preferred Qualifications:
  • IAT Level II certified
  • CI poly
  • Experience with both Cisco and Juniper routers

Salary Range: $88,000 USD - $132,000 USD

Salary Range 2: $109,100 USD - $163,700 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
