Lockheed Martin is looking for a dedicated SW DevOps Engineer for the Space Protection Programs Mission Area team.

The DevOps Engineer works with developers to oversee and automate code integration, analysis, test, and release, combining an understanding of both software development and tool integration to increase productivity in the workplace. They understand the software development lifecycle and have a clear understanding of various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/ CD pipelines).

As a SW DevOps Engineer, your roles and responsibilities will include:• Setup and maintenance of the DevSecOps infrastructure to include Gitlab, Jenkins, etc bridging classified and unclassified domains• Setup and maintenance of the tools used by developers during the development lifecycle• Setup and maintenance of the CI/CD pipelines. This includes the building code via pipelines and deploying software for test in emulated environments• Create and automate the deployment of containers.• Manage the COTS/FOSS applications utilized by the program• Perform external deployments according to the release schedules• Support and participate in the development of requirements and test driven softwareBasic Qualifications:Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work with other team members to accomplish tasks, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and can work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.• Demonstrated experience in DevSecOps processes and tools• Demonstrated knowledge of continuous integration / continuous deployment methodologies• Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple functional disciplines• Experience supporting a software development baseline• Candidate should have 3+ years of software systems or software development and test experience• Must possess active TS/SCI security clearance and be willing to consent to a Counter Intelligence PolygraphDesired Skills:• Fluency in C/C and/or Python• Experience with embedded or real time systems tools and development• Experience with Agile software systems design, development, integration, test, with knowledge of space systems at the component through system level• Experience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of hardware/software products throughout the full lifecycle of the program• Ability to interact with hardware and software developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied• Ability to get results from teams without direct authority• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of the daily program operations• Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change

Pay Rate:In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $87,600 - $146,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

This position is incentive plan eligible

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
