Inventory Accounting Manager

Position SummaryThe Inventory Accounting Manager will maintain and control the organization's General Ledger accounts and business transactions by following proper accounting procedures and controls and applying the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This role will work with the Rental/Retail accounting team to oversee Aspen One’s inventory accounts and will manage department projects and software. This position reports to the Finance Manager.The budgeted salary range for this position is $70,000- $90,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus. Job Posting DeadlineApplications for this position will be accepted until April 1, 2025. Essential Job Functions/Key Job ResponsibilitiesMonitor and investigate inventory movements within Oracle Netsuite to ensure accurate inventory balancesAudit and analyze inventory counts, determining root cause of significant variancesProvide regular inventory control reporting to management that provides insights on inventory control process resultsReview, reconcile, and resolve variances in various balance sheet accountsHandle and record the company’s financial transactionsReview and analyze monthly financial reportsSupport managers across the rental/retail teams with financial processes and proceduresProvide critical analysis and resolution of accounting discrepancies and errorsProvide and explain accounting information to managers and others within the company verbally and through written communication and emailOther duties as assigned
