Job Description
Ocean First Swim School is currently seeking to invest in new teachers to join our team of professional and enthusiastic swim instructors, serving over 400 swimmers in the greater Boulder area. Every instructor is trained through Swim School International standards to ensure quality and consistency. We are looking for applicants who enjoy spending time in the water and are passionate about teaching children and adults this important life skill.

Hours
We are looking for new instructors that can take 2+ shifts (10hrs+) PT
Our current operating hours are:
Monday 9am-1pm, 3pm-7:15pm
Tuesday 8am-12pm, 3pm-6:15pm
Wednesday 8am-1pm, 3pm-7:15pm
Thursday 8am-12pm, 3pm-6:15pm
Friday 3-6:15pm
Responsibilities and Duties
Teach 30 minute lessons to an average class ratio of 4:1
Evaluate students' progress and update skills in an online portal in a timely manner
Talk to parents to discuss students' progress
Perform deck manager duties to keep the facility clean
Attend weekly/monthly meetings to keep everyone up to date
Qualifications and Skills
Must be comfortable working with children in a pool environment
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
Must pass a background check
Available for a consistent schedule
Bonus qualifications:
Previous teaching or educator experience
Previous experience working in aquatic education
