facility has a fully automated, state of the art, screen-to-machine process. Currently employing over 35 people, we are a family owned and operated company that has been in business over ten years. We continue to look for innovations and strive to be leaders in the cabinet field.

Lead Cabinet Engineer Job Description

The Lead Cabinet Engineer takes electronic and hard copy cabinet orders from the sales force and performs a thorough review of the Cabinet Vision file against the job details, field measurements, and installation guidelines to ensure that all documents are ready to be produced. The engineer produces all shop manufacturing paperwork and verifies its accuracy prior to submittal for manufacturing.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Check orders for accuracy

- Generate all shop paperwork (special door order lists, cut lists, installation instructions, shop drawings, purchase orders)

- Originate special order product requests

- Provide feedback to salespeople and manufacturing as needed

- Other duties as needed

- Work with Director of Operations for continual improvement of the Cabinet-vision database.

Skills:

- Must have good math skills, including geometry

- Must have excellent attention to detail

- Must be very organized

- Must work well in a team environment

- Must have good computer aptitude

Experience:

- CAD experience in a production environment is preferred

- Cabinet Vision and some cabinet manufacturing experience is preferred

Compensation:

a. Base Salary and Benefits

i. The Cabinet Engineer will be paid an annual base salary. Salary will be based on experience. This salary is based on a minimum of a 45-hour per week work week.

b. Health Benefits

i. The Lead Cabinet Engineer is eligible to participate in the company health benefits program. The Lead Cabinet Engineer is eligible for health benefits on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment

c. Vacation

i. The success candidate will be eligible for 2 weeks of paid vacation after one full year of service. After five years, he/she will be eligible for 3 weeks of vacation. Please see the company manual for more specific details.

d. Holidays

i. The successful candidate will receive 5 paid holidays. These holidays are New Years Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

e. Reporting

i. The Lead Cabinet Engineer will report directly to the Director of Facility and Production.
