What we expect:

● Sous Chef reports directly to and collaborates with the Chef and General Manager

● Knowledge and experience to contribute to the success of a busy kitchen.

● Latin and/or Mexican culinary experience

● Seafood knowledge - handling and butchery.

● Train, mentor and help lead our kitchen

● Be accountable, do what you say, get it done.

● Manage equipment and facilities.

● Extreme passion around cooking and serving outstanding food every time without exception.

● Highly pro appearance and attitude. Ready, willing and able to collaborate, work and learn in a team environment. No baggage, this is a drama free zone.

Qualifications:

● Minimum of two years in kitchen management position

● Minimum of two years in a food preparation position

● Basic finance skills with an understanding of weekly budgets, costed menus and schedules.

● Ability to handle the requirements of a Chef's job which includes bending, reaching, standing for long periods of time and carrying and lifting heavy and really hot stuff!

● ServSafe Manager Certification (we’ll train you!)

● First Aid and CPR Certified (we’ll train you!)

● Integrity, intelligence, honesty and a willingness to learn, dig in, and be world famous.
