Lovely Landscapes and Gardens, LLC. is looking for motivated independent contractors to join our 2019 season landscaping and gardening crews. Our work season is from March - November. We are hiring for Full-time or Part-time positions.

We are a full-service landscaping company offering site consultations, landscape design, installation, and full-service residential landscape maintenance services. We specialize in creating beautiful, eco-friendly, unique landscapes and intimate garden spaces. We apply cutting-edge knowledge, conscientious installation methods and provide specialty skilled garden care and complete landscape maintenance services. We are committed to using environmentally friendly and mindful techniques and products.

Garden Crew responsibilities include:

Providing physical labor and skills required to construct, create, and maintain residential landscapes in a safe, efficient, conscientious manner.

Implementing landscaping designs - identifying where to plant flowers, shrubs or trees, install sod, sow grass seed, install mulch, weed barrier, or decorative stone.

Being mindful of garden plants and paying close attention to details while working in gardens.

Weeding - Identifying and removing weeds from garden beds efficiently, and being able to differentiate between the weeds and the desired plants and flowers within the garden beds.

Pruning or trimming ground-level trees, shrubs, or hedges.

Planting seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs, fertilize and apply mulch, using appropriate gardening tools.

Trimming garden plants and flowers, cleaning up and rejuvenating flower beds.

Installing rock gardens, ponds, drainage systems, drip-irrigation systems, boulder placements, planters, stone patios, trellises, arbors.

Installing mulch, weed barrier systems, gravel, compost and organic fertilizers.

Debris, branch and leaf clean-up - Raking, mulching, loading and unloading heavy debris, branches, leaves, dirt, rocks, mulch.

Using hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruners, etc.

Operating vehicles or small power tools such as: mowers, leaf blowers, etc.

Attend and participate in crew safety and planning meetings when necessary.
