Tired of late nights and fluctuating work loads? Looking for a regular schedule, fairly consistent work load and the opportunity to get to know your customers? Golden West, a not for profit senior housing community, has part-time server openings in our dining services department for reliable individuals with a strong focus on customer service. Our dining room is open set hours and the customer flow is fairly consistent and predictable, with residents tending to eat at the same times each day.
The servers are responsible for ensuring the residents of our community enjoy a pleasant dining experience. The servers manage all service aspects of the meal services and work together to set tables, seat the residents, enter orders into the Point of Sale system, deliver orders and bus tables.
Candidates must enjoy working with senior citizens(average age 80), possess the ability to multitask and stay organized during busy meal periods. Restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train individuals with the right attitude and customer service skills.
