A small estate planning firm in Boulder is looking to add an attorney to its 3-attorney team. This associate attorney will manage the caseload for two partner attorneys, ensuring that tasks get completed timely and that each client receives personalized service.

Salary will be competitive with local market rates for the experience and training of the person we hire. Raises will be performance-based.

What we are looking for:

Friendly team player to work with four other members of the law firm,

Professional with at least 18 months of experience in estate planning or a related field,

Great references are a must,

Very organized hard-worker who can manage not only their own caseload but also keep two other attorneys organized,

Productive professional who can complete dozens of small tasks every day,

Personable, courteous with clients and colleagues; treats everyone with respect and kindness,

Self-starter able to push projects forward independently without guidance more than once or twice each workday,

Great with people and their names; will remember individual clients when they call in,

Good juggler who can assist with dozens of matters and switch quickly between them.

Your responsibilities will include:

Drafting estate planning documents like wills and trusts

Drafting probate and trust administration filings, correspondence, and other documents

Speaking with clients about their cases regularly

Managing case progress for the attorneys who supervise the cases

You must be licensed in at least one state and willing to become licensed in Colorado. Some experience required. Excellent speaking and writing abilities a must. You must be able to research and understand the Colorado Revised Statutes.

Work is M-F 9am-6pm with an hour for lunch at the time of your choice. There is only limited work outside of those hours but you must be willing to pitch in when things get busy.

Health insurance premiums are 50% paid by the firm with Anthem Blue Cross. Delta dental and BlueView Vision insurance premiums are also paid 50% by the firm, 50% by you. We also share profits using a Simple IRA retirement plan. Vacation, holiday, and sick pay included.
