ESI Attorneys, a fast-paced boutique ediscovery and information law firm, is seeking a career Litigation Paralegal with eDiscovery litigation support experience who is a responsible and proactive professional willing to take a leading role in supporting the firm. The Paralegal will assist ESI Attorneys with a broad range of litigation matters and regulatory investigations for our clients across the country and in multiple industries. Our approach is strategic and client-focused.

Our ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of Paralegal experience helping manage all facets of the litigation and ediscovery life cycle. Candidates must have a demonstrated track record providing case management on large complex matters, with a thorough understanding of the ediscovery process and high level of proficiency.

This position will be responsible for managing day to day aspects of the ediscovery process as support for our discovery counsel role, researching software tools, acting as an extension of our attorneys to clients, overseeing research and analysis provided by the team, as well as the preparation of legal documentation The position is responsible for managing and developing processes utilizing the firms' case management software to track and ensure quality and accuracy; developing best practices, responding to escalated issues, and providing direct support to senior leadership as needed. The candidate must demonstrate flexibility to handle a wide variety of tasks and should excel in time management.

Our ideal candidate has all of the following:

- 10+ years litigation paralegal experience

- Bachelors Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate

- Proficient with Mac computers and software including Office 365, project management tools and legal research including Westlaw

- Superb project management skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines

- Detailed knowledge of the litigation process, rules and jurisdictions

- Experience using ediscovery review platforms and knowledge of the stages of ediscovery as set out in the EDRM

- Ability to collect using Harvester or other mobile platform from O365, Google Apps, web-based email services, Microsoft Exchange and mobile devices

- Excellent verbal and written skills to be able to converse with clients on the phone and in written communications

- Experience loading data into, setting and managing databases on multiple ediscovery platforms

- Potential interest in forensics and desire for additional education to grow skills

- Positive, personable, strong interpersonal skills, and an upbeat can do attitude

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Extremely well organized and detail-oriented

- Proactive with successful time management skills to perform multiple tasks and manage concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to review, evaluate and summarize large volumes of information quickly and accurately

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and with clients

- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

- Ability to perform well under stringent deadline pressure

- Proactive identifies issues and finds solutions to recommend

- Someone who exudes professionalism in all areas of their life

Responsibilities:

- Assist with legal research, fact-checking, cite-checking and investigation

- Manage deadlines, details and processes associated with ediscovery

- Draft case law summaries, research rules and interface with court clerks

- Set up cases in review platform, organize and cull data, set up witness notebooks, create privilege logs, and overall database management

- Provide case management support and document control for complex litigation cases

- Provide support on managed review

- Assist with collecting emails, documents, and other data for discovery

- Help with deposition preparation, witness interviews and case-related research

- Develop and maintain good client relations

- Draft summaries and other data for use in ediscovery process

- Assist on the entirety of case

- Assist with ad hoc duties for any given matter
